POOR MATRIC RESULTS IN RURAL AREAS

Matric results in South Africa are very poor. South African students are trying by all means to do their best in their studies, but in some schools there no resources, if they are present there are no qualified people to teach students.
South African rural areas are most affected by poor matric results because they do not have access to get good materials such as, computers with internet, news papers for them to practise and see the style of how the papers are being set. Students in rural areas are not motivated because of illiteracy of their parents. On the other hand in townships and in suburbs areas learners are very good in their studies because they have laboratories and they conduct some experiments in their classes and they have libraries in their schools, unlike rural students who do not have any facilities.
Family disorganisation is one the main causes of poor matric results because it weakens and ends the ties that bind the members of the family as a group that causes conflict and carelessness in a family. In family disorganisation members do not function as a close-knit unit, and therefore they do not adequately meet each other’s needs. In most cases parents that have students going in suburbs schools are the one who are literate, those parents that function socially and acknowledged manner.
Poverty is another thing that causes poor results in matrics because a learner cannot study with an empty stomach. In rural areas there are no job opportunities so students are the one who are the bread winners in their homes; you will find that in rural schools students are selling sweets and fruit inside the premises and they cannot concentrate on their studies. The only thing that they focus on is selling, in other words other students see school as a place to make a living by selling stuff.
Teenage pregnancy in rural schools is so high as a result students drop out of school because the government does not allow pregnant students in class. Some students are influenced by peers to indulge in sex because everyone does it.
Crime is the result of poor matric results because once a student fails grade 12 thinks that it is the end of the world, so there is nothing to improve on; the only thing that must be done is crime.

WHAT IS SO INTERESTING ABOUT LADIES?

Is it really true that beauty can buy someone happiness? It certainly cannot, but some ladies out there seem to know how to make a living out of their beauty or prettiness. It is amazing how girls impress men, they only sacrifice non-valuable things which men think that they are so worth it, like saving a few rand to buy just one attire or outfit for that particular event. It really does not take much for ladies to impress men.
It is every man’s wish to have a beautiful girlfriend by his side, but in nowadays that does not come cheap because you must be driving a luxury car and wearing expensive clothes.
Some men could even abandon their families because of the so-called divas; take for instance Khanyi Mbau and Theunis Crous. Theunis almost got divorced when his wife discovered that he had an affair with Khanyi. That is so ridiculous because if khanyi had good morals she would not have pushed the guy that far, because apparently she is the one who made a first move to this guy. Most people regard her as a celebrity, she is rich of cause, she is a role model to the young ladies, but no one knows what she does for a living (professional wise). It is certainly not justifiable when someone has got so much wealth without having any qualifications, but no questions asked because everyone knows what she is capable of doing.
No offence to the ladies but most of them thinks that being pretty in a hot dress will enhance them to live a better life. Well, most people would certainly agree because men in nowadays are so naive. They are only concerned about what is underneath that hot dress without actually considering the person’s values and morals, hence the divorce rate is so high.
Does khanyi have kids? If she does, what is she teaching them, to also become blings like her when they grow old? What institution did she go to? I am just curious...

PROTEAS ARE MAKING SOUTH AFRICANS PROUD

South African national Cricket team “Proteas” are showing victory in their World cup games. Proteas played only four games and they won 3 games. The ICC cricket world cup 2011 is hosted in three countries, Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. Fourteen national cricket teams are competing in the tournament.
Proteas are trying their best to retain the South African dignity after Bafana Bafana were hosting the soccer World cup last year and did not make it to the quarterfinals. Meanwhile Springbok on their side has made the South Africans happy by winning the World cup in 2007. Proteas played well so far as they are through to the quarterfinals of the ICC Cricket World cup. Proteas defeated Netherlands in their first game which led them to play against England. England did not shown any mercy to Proteas as they defeated them by six runs, but Proteas did not gave up on that because they won against the hosts India on Saturday. Many people did not believe the defeat of India by Proteas, because the Indians played in a very confident manner as they were the ones who won the toss and chose to bat first. South African boilers did a very good job after the tenth over as the Indians were hitting fours and Sixes, but Steyn managed to stop the Indian fire as he got 5 wickets on his name.
South African batmen also did a good job, but Proteas supporters are talking about Greame Smith the Captain of Proteas. Supporters are blaming Smith of not playing like a leader they say he is so lazy, he blocks the balls that are not supposed to be blocked.
Now Proteas are waiting to play against Bangladesh on Saturday after they defeated Ireland by 131 runs on Tuesday. Proteas are the first team to go through to the quarterfinals in group B and now are currently sitting on top of the group.

WHO WILL BE THE PSL CHAMPS?

The Absa Premiership League is coming to an end and everyone in South Africa is asking who will be the 2010 and 2011 PSL champions. All the teams played 24 games, but the most shocking thing is that the 3 time PSL league champions SuperSport United is so miserably, Madzantsantsa are still struggling to get into the top 8 of the league. Two weeks ago SuperSport United was defeated by Bloemfontein Celtics 5-0 in Seisa Ramapudu Stadium; people are asking what went wrong to Gorvan Hunt because he seems to be confused. SuperSport United supporters are blaming the management; they say they release good quality players, the likes of Teko Modise, Dan Klat and others. SuperSport is not showing any improvement even though they have the former number one South African goal keeper Rowen Fernandez.
Mamelodi Sundowns seemed to be the one who is going to be the Champs, Sundowns has good quality players, the only problem they have is the management. Sundowns were on top of the league for nearly two months, but they dropped to the fourth position and they decided to fire the coach and bring the new one for the third time in one season. After they bought a new Coach at least things are going better now as Katlego Mphela is also back on the squad after he was suffering from an injury.
On the other hand Soweto giants Orlando Pirates who are on the top of the League and Kaizer Chiefs who are on the fourth position following Mamelodi Sundowns are fighting to take the league after it has been so long. These two Soweto giants are so stressed after they played a 1-1 draw on the 26th of February at FNB stadium. These two teams had played draws in their last three games and their supporters are disappointed by their performances as they were promising after the Christmas break. Meanwhile Ajax Cape town is playing so good and it looks like they are going to take the league after they played 24 games and win 15 games with 4 draws and 5 loses, now they are standing on the second position of the log following after Orlando Pirates.
Moroka Swallows is standing on the 15th position; the Dube Birds seem to be confused as they are praying for miracles to not be relegated. Soweto football supporters are worried about their old big team. Mpulanga Blacks Aces has no place on PSL as it is quite clear that they are going where they from in Mvela Golden League. In Cape Town new team in PSL Vasco Da Gama is doing exceptional well, it shows that they were looking to take the league as they are on the 13th position of the log and they are playing to reach the top 8.
